We offer a high degree of technical expertise in the broad spectrum
of fields covered by planning and architecture. We have an excellent
record of stability in staffing. This ensures that each project
is directed and performed throughout by the same person or team,
with obvious benefits to efficiency and client confidence.
As well as our depth of experience in architecture
and planning, we successfully combine the two disciplines to offer
services normally considered outside the province of each. These
include site master planning, urban design, streetscape studies,
including long-term strategic development plans for small as well
as major institutional campuses.
Master planning is a particular area of expertise.
Our approach recognises the need for experience in the efficient
allocation of land and built spaces and an ability to tailor site
development to the needs and growth characteristics of client institutions.
Invaluable benefits stem from our analytical approach to environmental
design, detailed knowledge of building construction and life-cycle
costing which enables planning to be confidently undertaken knowing
that the area, shape, orientation, foundation requirements, etc
of buildings and paths of travel have been properly assessed and
the potential for long term user enjoyment of facilities is maximised.
